China Chemical Engineering’s 14th Construction Company has completed the air-lift raising of the propane tank dome at the AJA GPP cryogenic tank project in Nigeria, with the company reporting the milestone on 15 October 2026. The millimetre-precision lift marks a key construction breakthrough for the storage cluster, which will form a West African hub for ethane, propane and LNG storage alongside the neighbouring Nigeria LNG tanks. The contractor says cryogenic tanks it has built or is building worldwide now total nearly 9 million cubic metres of capacity.
