Oji Group has started construction on a US$110 million aseptic carton packaging plant at Long Thanh High-tech Industrial Park in Dong Nai province, Vietnam, run by its Oji Liquid Pak unit. The 57,000-square-metre facility is designed to output up to 8 billion packs a year for beverages and liquid food, with commissioning planned for 2028 and more than 200 jobs created. The company says the plant will supply roll-fed filling machines already installed across Asia-Pacific and align with Vietnam’s extended producer responsibility rules.
