Sidel has completed the factory acceptance test for the core equipment of a PET aseptic line ordered by Chinese herbal-tea producer Wanglaoji, at the supplier’s Beijing smart manufacturing plant. The unit is a fully automatic blow-fill-cap monoblock rated at no less than 24,000 bottles per hour on 500 ml PET, combining preform dry sterilisation, blowing, aseptic filling and capping for 300 ml to 1.5 litre non-carbonated drinks. The line is destined for the second phase of Wanglaoji’s Nansha factory.
