Montel Civil Engineering has won five wastewater treatment works packages from Severn Trent Water under the utility’s Directed Delivery route, worth a combined GBP 24 million. The orders, awarded between March and August 2026 on NEC4 Option A design-and-build terms, include four driven by environmental programme obligations and a fifth at Crowle covering quality, phosphorus and growth. The largest scheme at Earlswood Springbrook adds a moving bed biofilm reactor, tertiary solids removal and a low-voltage power upgrade, with first reliability tests due in December 2026.
